Indiana Bead Society Spring Workshop

By | February 21, 2013

The annual Spring Workshop for the Indiana Bead Society is coming up soon.  March 23rd is the day.   I am teaching two half day classes.    In the morning I am teaching my Bollywood Bracelet.

This class covers a lot of ground in a half a day.   We will learn 2 different components, a beaded bead, a speedy bezelling technique and discuss construction.   Each of the individual components is lovely on it’s own, and could be used for earrings or necklaces as well.   The kit is chock full of high quality parts, permanent galvanized Japanese seed beads, Swarovski crystals, and glass pearls.  Multiple kit colors will be available on the day of the class, both silver and gold will be an option.  The instructions are 15 pages and in color.   It’s a great class for intermediate to advanced beaders.   The Linking Rings Bracelet is my afternoon class.     Students will learn to make 3 different types of rings using both flat and tubular herringbone.   The toggle bar is flat peyote stitch.  There will be several kit color options available on the day of the class.  This class is suitable for an advanced beginner or an intermediate beader.
