I have decided to have another go at my thing a day challenge.  Last year I made a new piece of jewelry each day in March.   This year I am going to do it a little differently.    I am going to try to make a pair of earrings each day.  I am also going to attempt the Fusion Beads 30 Day Bead Challenge at the same time.  So far the first two days have been easy to merge.  The Fusion challenge for March 1: make a pair of earrings.

Here are the earrings from day 1.  I actually made two pairs.

The frames are mother of pearl, with fresh water pearls inserted in the center.  The dangles are Swarovski crystals on sterling head pins.  The ear wires are also sterling.

I actually made this pair first.   I like them both.   I will have to make another of one of these, since I would like to keep a pair for myself.

Fusion’s day 2 challenge, make something with leftover beads.   Done except for the ear wires.  I have 45 minutes to add them before it’s tomorrow… I will post a picture tomorrow when there is better light for pictures.
