The challenge for Tuesday was to incorporate chain into a jewelry design.   This is a bit trickier with earrings than other things.    I started with a warm up pair of earrings… I have a bunch of these trumpet flower filigree pieces.  I have tried to use them in multiple ways, but they always end up hanging kind of funny. I don’t love these, but they aren’t horrible either. I do love the teal pearls.  You will notice that there is no chain involved here.  I had a thought, but it didn’t work.   So, it was on to pair two. The bone beads have been in my stash for a long time.   They have made an appearance in many projects over the years.   I only have a few left now.   The chain is copper from Michaels most likely. The copper flower bead caps came from JoAnns.    I like the tassel-y look of these.  They have a nice amount of swing to them.

And now onto the sneak peek.   The challenge for day 6 was to create a color palette.   Anyone who knows me knows I go for the bolds and the brights.   I thought I would challenge myself a bit.  I was leaning towards corals, turquoises and pearls, but then I ran a little errand and stumbled upon a snazzy shirt I had to have and voila, a fun springy color palette.
